Continuous vacuum process means the vacuum is never broken during the drying cycle.
No air/oxygen reaches the lumber which is essential for discolouration free drying.
Pressure inside the chamber is reduced to 100 – 250 mbar allowing the evaporation of water in the wood at 60° C (140° F).
Water vapour is extracted from the chamber by the vacuum pumps and condensed.
Condensate tank can be drained without interrupting the drying process.
Fast. Robust. Ecomonical.
Drying light coloured deciduous types of wood colour-fast, even in larger dimensions, to the desired final moisture within the space of a few days is a major requirement of our times. The patented Mühlböck vacuum drier was designed for this very purpose and cannot actually be improved any more.
Our vacuum driers stand out due to their simple handling, convincing drying results and high throughput. We supply vacuum driers ready to be plugged in with a wood capacity of 3 m3.
